Buy Thymosin Alpha-1

This page brings together the six items in the Lumo Peptides catalogue concerning thymosin alpha-1 and the peptides studied in the same context: thymalin, KPV and LL-37. For each format we give the price with the conversion per milligram where that is meaningful. The material is for laboratory use only; we state no dosage and no method of use.

Thymosin alpha-1 and thymalin

The 10 mg thymosin alpha-1 vial costs € 84,95, or € 8,50 per milligram. Thymalin at 10 mg costs € 64,95, or € 6,50 per milligram. At the same content the gap is therefore twenty euros, a little under a quarter.

The two entries are not interchangeable. Thymosin alpha-1 is a synthetic peptide of twenty-eight amino acid residues with a defined sequence; thymalin is a peptide extract from thymus tissue and therefore a mixture, not a single molecule. The lower price does not follow from poorer quality but from a different production process.

KPV in three formats

Format Contents Price Per milligram
Vial 30 mg € 99,95 € 3,33
Vial 10 mg € 54,95 € 5,50
Oral form 500 mcg € 189,95

KPV is a tripeptide made up of lysine, proline and valine, and forms the terminal fragment of alpha-MSH. In the vial, moving from 10 mg to 30 mg takes the unit price from € 5,50 down to € 3,33, a cut of nearly forty per cent. Measured by conversion, the 30 mg vial is the most favourable entry on the page.

For the 500 mcg oral form at € 189,95 we state no price per milligram, because the quantity in the name describes a single unit rather than the whole pack. It is the dearest entry on the page by amount, but that figure does not compare with the vials.

LL-37

The 5 mg LL-37 vial costs € 54,95, or € 10,99 per milligram. That is the highest unit price on the page, and the reason lies in the quantity: five milligrams per vial against the ten or thirty of the other entries. LL-37 is a peptide of thirty-seven residues, appreciably longer than KPV, and synthesising a long chain works through into the cost per milligram.

Why chain length lifts the price

Peptides are built by attaching amino acids one after another. Every step calls for its own reagent cycle and its own purification, so cost follows the number of residues rather than the mass of the finished product. LL-37 with its thirty-seven residues therefore costs three times per milligram what KPV with three does, even though both substances are sold in the same format: freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial.

The same principle explains why thymalin comes out cheaper than thymosin alpha-1. An extract is not built residue by residue but separated from starting material, and that is an entirely different production route. Comparing the price of the two entries therefore says more about the manufacturing method than about the substance itself. The clearest case of the principle is on the glutathione page, where a three-residue peptide reaches € 0,06 per milligram.

KPV inside a blend

KPV also appears in KLOW-80, which brings together GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg and KPV 10 mg in one vial at € 144,95. For a blend we state no price per milligram: the vial holds four substances at once, so dividing the amount by one of the contents would give a figure that describes nothing. The other three substances in KLOW-80 have pages of their own, and the full catalogue lists them by category.

The six items side by side

The unit price on this page runs from € 3,33 per milligram for KPV at 30 mg to € 10,99 for LL-37. That is more than threefold, and the gap depends almost entirely on chain length and quantity per vial rather than on format: there are no pens and no nasal spray kits here, and every entry but one is a plain vial.

The range of amounts, by contrast, runs from € 54,95 to € 189,95. Both extremes belong to the same substance, KPV, in two different forms, which shows clearly why the amount to be paid says less than the unit price.

Batch analysis and shipping

For every lot we produce an analysis report setting out the batch number, the testing technique used and the result of the purity check. The same number repeats on the vial label, so the recipient ties the document to the specific container rather than to an earlier production run of the same substance. KPV is set out on its own page at Buy KPV.

We dispatch from a Dutch warehouse. The United Kingdom is outside the EU, so a UK parcel goes through customs and any import VAT or duty is charged by the carrier to the recipient. Ireland is in the EU, where carriage is € 14,95 and no import charges arise. Carriage to the United Kingdom is € 15,95 and falls away above € 200. Every parcel carries a tracking number and the outer packaging is plain.

For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
