Buy TB-500

This page is for researchers in the United Kingdom and Ireland who want to buy TB-500 as a reference material, and it lists every TB 500 format we carry. Below you will find pack sizes and prices, the price per milligram where the pack allows it, a description of the molecule and its neighbours in our catalogue, and the practical detail on handling, shipping and analysis. Everything here is sold for laboratory and research work. We set out chemistry and logistics, and make no statement about what anyone would observe.

Price and packaging

Product Pack Price Price per mg
TB-500 vial 10 mg € 69,95 € 7,00
TB-500 vial 20 mg € 124,95 € 6,25
TB-500 pen 20 mg € 139,95 € 7,00
Wolverine blend vial 10 mg € 74,95 € 7,50
Wolverine blend vial 20 mg € 119,95 € 6,00
Wolverine stack pen 10 mg € 99,95 € 10,00
Wolverine stack pen 20 mg € 139,95 € 7,00
TB-500 oral 500 mcg tablet pack € 299,95 not calculated
BPC-157 with TB-500, oral tablet pack € 369,95 not calculated
GLOW-70 vial GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg € 129,95 not calculated
KLOW-80 vial GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg, KPV 10 mg € 154,95 not calculated

Two figures are worth working through. The 20 mg vial at € 124,95 comes to € 6,25 per milligram, against € 69,95 over ten milligrams, or € 7,00. The Wolverine stack pen follows the same pattern. Each of the three pairs above runs that way, but read the figure on each line rather than assuming it. The column stays blank for the oral packs and for GLOW-70 and KLOW-80: those two vials hold a fixed mixture of three or four substances rather than one stated pack size in milligrams, so there is no clean base to divide the price by, and a tablet pack is not measured the way a vial is.

What TB-500 is

TB-500 is the trade name used in the research-chemical market for material based on thymosin beta-4, a small polypeptide of the beta-thymosin family. In its natural form thymosin beta-4 is a single unbranched chain of 43 amino acids carrying an acetyl group at the N-terminus, with a molar mass of roughly 4,9 kDa. It is highly water soluble and has no rigid folded core, which is ordinary for a polypeptide of that length.

The name is loose, and that matters when you compare suppliers. TB-500 has been applied both to the full 43-residue chain and to a short synthetic segment of it, the sequence LKKTETQ, which the literature describes as the actin-binding region of the parent protein. Those are chemically different materials sharing one name. The certificate of analysis for each batch names the material and gives the measured identity and purity.

Against the neighbouring substances we carry, size is the obvious difference. BPC-157 is a chain of fifteen amino acids at roughly 1,4 kDa. GHK-Cu is not a chain of that kind at all, but a tripeptide of glycine, L-histidine and L-lysine held in a complex with a copper(II) ion. KPV is a tripeptide of lysine, proline and valine. Comparing them per milligram is arithmetic rather than chemistry: a milligram of a 1,4 kDa peptide holds far more molecules than a milligram of a 4,9 kDa one.

Where it sits in the catalogue

The compound ordered alongside it most often is BPC-157, set out on our BPC-157 page, and the two appear together in the Wolverine vial, the pen and the oral pack. GHK-Cu belongs to a separate class and has its own GHK-Cu page, while GLOW-70 and KLOW-80 combine it with BPC-157 and TB-500 in one lyophilised cake. For the wider range, the peptide overview lists every reference material we hold, and the growth-hormone group, unrelated in structure, sits on the HGH page.

Form, handling and storage

The vials hold a lyophilised cake. Add bacteriostatic water slowly, running it down the inside wall of the vial rather than letting the stream fall onto the cake, then swirl gently until the solid has gone into solution. Do not shake it. The volume of water sets the concentration, and our peptide calculator does that arithmetic. Once reconstituted, the vial belongs in the fridge and not the freezer. Sealed lyophilised powder keeps at room temperature.

The oral packs are tablets and are handled differently: keep them dry, dark and closed at room temperature. The pens hold the same substance in a cartridge rather than as loose powder, and a made-up cartridge goes in the fridge on the same basis as a reconstituted vial.

Shipping and analysis

Everything leaves from the Netherlands and all prices on the site are quoted in euros. Delivery to the United Kingdom is a flat € 15,95, free on orders from € 200. Delivery to Ireland is a flat € 14,95, also free from € 200.

The United Kingdom is not in the European Union, so a parcel from the Netherlands to a British address is an import. Any import VAT or duty on it is levied by the carrier and charged to whoever receives the parcel, separately from what you pay us at checkout. Ireland is in the European Union, so no import charge of that kind arises on an Irish delivery. Every batch is analysed and the certificate of analysis is published on our analysis certificates page.

Frequently asked questions

What may I use this for?
Laboratory and research purposes only. It is not for human or veterinary use. We set out chemistry and logistics, nothing further.

Is TB-500 the same thing as thymosin beta-4?
Not always. The name covers both the full 43-residue chain and a short synthetic segment of it. Check the certificate of analysis for the batch, which names what was actually made.

Which TB-500 pack is lowest per milligram?
Of the single-substance formats, the 20 mg vial at € 124,95 works out at € 6,25 per milligram, below the 10 mg vial and the 20 mg pen, both at € 7,00.

Why is there no per-milligram figure for GLOW-70, KLOW-80 and the oral packs?
Those two vials are a fixed mixture of three or four substances rather than a pack sold on a stated milligram size, and the oral packs come as tablets. In neither case is there a single base to divide the price by.

What does shipping to a British address cost?
A flat € 15,95, and nothing from € 200. Import VAT or duty, if the carrier applies any, is billed to you separately by the carrier.

For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
