CJC-1295 is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone, and more precisely of the first twenty-nine amino acids of that chain. The unmodified fragment is sold as sermorelin. CJC-1295 departs from it at four positions: D-alanine at two, glutamine at eight, alanine at fifteen and leucine at twenty-seven.
