Between the two vials the step is a large one. Tripling the content from 10 mg to 30 mg raises the amount by forty-five euros, so the conversion falls from € 5,50 to € 3,33 per milligram, a cut of nearly forty per cent. Steps of that size occur wherever a vial exists in two sizes, because the work of filling, labelling and testing a container barely changes with what goes into it.

Why a three-residue peptide sits low per milligram

At € 3,33 the 30 mg vial is among the cheaper peptide entries in the catalogue by conversion, and the reason lies in the length of the chain rather than in anything about the substance. Solid-phase synthesis adds one residue at a time, each with its own coupling, its own deprotection and its own wash. The number of those cycles, not the mass of the finished material, is what the work follows.

KPV has three residues. A sequence such as LL-37 has thirty-seven, which means roughly twelve times the number of cycles for the same milligram of product, with the yield losses of each step compounding along the way. Short peptides are therefore cheap per milligram and long ones are not, and the gap between them says nothing about either one.

The oral form and the blend

Neither the oral form nor the blend carries a conversion, for two different reasons.

The oral form comes as tablets. The strength printed on the label is the amount in a single tablet, not the contents of the pack, so dividing the pack price by that figure would give a number roughly a hundred times too high. For tablet packs the catalogue gives the pack price alone.

KLOW-80 holds four substances at once: GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV, eighty milligrams between them. The amount buys all four, so there is no single quantity to divide by. A figure per milligram would present the four as interchangeable mass, which they are not.

What the label carries

A vial label states the substance, the quantity in milligrams and the lot number, and nothing about use. On the blend the label names each of the four substances with its own quantity, which is precisely why the pack has no single figure behind it.

The lot number is the link to the analysis report. Without it the report would describe some batch of the substance rather than the container in hand, and for a short sequence like this one that distinction still matters: chain length says nothing about how well a particular batch came out.

Reconstitution and laboratory supplies

The two vials and the blend arrive as freeze-dried powder under a sealed stopper; the oral form does not and needs no solvent. Bringing a vial into solution calls for bacteriostatic water, which the catalogue lists under laboratory supplies together with syringes and filters.
